Privacy notice
Last updated 17 September 2026
Short version: this site sets no cookies at all, has no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers. The only personal data it holds is an email address, and only if you typed one into the mailing-list form yourself.
No cookies, and therefore no banner
There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to. The application has its session and cookie handling removed at the framework level and stores nothing in your browser — no cookies, no local storage, nothing. You can check in your browser's developer tools; that is a better guarantee than this paragraph.
If that ever changes, this page is wrong. Anyone adding analytics, sessions, embedded video or anything else that writes to a visitor's browser must change this page in the same commit — and add the consent mechanism the law then requires.
The simulation runs in your browser
The match you are watching, the league table, every price beside them and every calculator on the page run entirely on your own device. Nothing you type into the overround calculator or the accumulator slip is sent anywhere. None of it reaches our server, because there is no request to send it in.
If you join the mailing list
The form sends us four things: the email address you typed, which option you picked, your confirmation that you are 18 or over and happy to be emailed, and the time you sent it. We also store a one-way hash of your IP address and a truncated browser user-agent string, as evidence that the consent was genuinely given and to limit abuse of the form. The hash cannot be turned back into your IP address.
- Lawful basis: consent, which you gave with the tick box, and which you can withdraw at any time.
- What we do with it: send you one email when there is something real to look at. Nothing else.
- Who else sees it: nobody. It is not sold, shared, rented or passed to any bookmaker, affiliate network, advertiser or data broker, and it never will be.
- Where it lives: a database on our own server in the United Kingdom. The notification email that tells us you signed up is sent through Postmark and delivered to a mailbox hosted by Migadu.
- How long: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until three years pass with the list unused — whichever comes first, after which it is deleted.
Server logs
Our web server keeps ordinary access records for security and troubleshooting, in the way every web server does. They are rotated and deleted on the usual schedule and are not used to build any profile of you.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to our holding it. Email hello@mufcbetting.co.uk and we will deal with it within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Who the data controller is
This section is not finished, and it needs to be before this site is promoted anywhere. A UK data controller must publish the name of the legal entity and a postal address for it. That has not been filled in here yet because the company details have not been confirmed.
Until it is: no marketing email will be sent to anyone on this list, and if you want your address removed before then, email hello@mufcbetting.co.uk and it will be deleted the same day.
Changes
If this notice changes the date at the top of the page changes with it.
